Dr Prohit, his registrar and team in the treatment room were excellent. They explained in detail what would happen during the procedure and the sensations I could expect. I felt that they were very competent and demonstrated excellent team work. Ian, the nurse who looked after me, was first class, very friendly, smiling and supportive throughout. My sincere thank you to all. Unfortunately I did not experience the same level of care with the nursing staff on the day ward. The did not engage in a supportive way. They did their job but did not pick up on my anxieties. I would have thought my blood pressure at 183 would have been a clue. Perhaps they need to work on their social skills with the patient at the front and centre. The staff nurse did not demonstrate leadership of a happy team.

His nurse was super friendly and supportive. He explained the procedure well and was patient when I was struggling. They both checked on me and looked after me afterwards to make sure I was ok.

I saw Dr. Purohit earlier today and he gave me a cortisone injection. I asked some questions concerning the injection which he answered readily and which I could easily understand. He then explained what he was doing while giving me the injection. I found him very open and friendly and would definitely recommend him.

Dr Purohit was great, he explained what was going to happen, showed me what the issue was on the ultrasound and asked about my welfare throughout. I told him i was nervous about the injection, he acknowledged that and again explained what would happen and how it would feel afterwards and then again checked how i was feeling afterwards. What a great doctor!
